Vanessa Rutkowski is a licensed
acupuncturist and applied clinical nutritionist who has been
practicing in Austin for about 18 years alongside her husband,
Douglas Rutkowski. Together, they own Tigerlily Wellness and
Acupuncture off S. Lamar.
We spent most of our
time talking about various modalities of Chinese and alternative
medicine including acupuncture, cupping, and muscle testing.
Whether you’re an acupuncture devotee like myself or a total
skeptic, I think you’ll find something interesting in this
conversation.
**Note that this
episode was recorded in mid-February 2020, before Covid-19 became
an immediate concern for most of us in the United States. We
discuss general advice for wellness during cold and flu season, but
this advice does not necessarily prevent or treat Covid-19. The
content in this episode is not intended to be a substitute for
professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek
the advice of your physician or other qualified health provider
with any questions you may have regarding a medical
condition.**
